The year 2019 marked the 50th anniversary of Cha’s arrival in Germany, as well as the year Bahc lost two friends who were fellow migrants. Spending entire days walking through Tempelhofer Feld—now a public park—Bahc imagined Cha stepping onto this very ground half a century ago.

During these walks, Bahc reflected on the sensationof the 'tongue'—one that was once lost, then hardened, and eventually became warm again—while mourning the friends who had passed. This book captures those endless steps and the passage of time through the intimate form of letters.
