This short story was written by Dong-jun Lee, whose connection with Bahc began through her participatory projects, and was later published by Bahc as a collaborative work.

Drawing inspiration from Bahc’s artistic research and archives, Lee reconstructs the story of the solidarity rallies held by Korean migrants in Berlin, who stood against the Japanese government’s opposition to the installation of the Statue of Peace.

The narrative unfolds through two characters: Hyesun, who has lived in the small Berlin district of Buckow for forty years, and Eun-young, who has just arrived in Germany to study the violin. Through their encounter, the story delicately captures the subtle and confusing sensations of being both "host and guest" in a foreign land.
